This course is for employers who want to understand their responsibilities for managing stress in the workplace. Stress is now an urgent and pressing issue, costing the UK economy approximately £4 billion annually, as well as involving considerable cost to individuals in terms of stress related conditions such as anxiety, depression and ill health. You will be enabled to: explore the symptoms and causes of stress, at both individual and organizational levels; understand the effects of stress on performance and develop strategies to meet your legal duty of care, reduce the negative impact of stress and ensure your organisation functions in a healthy way.
