Deposits

• An indemnity deposit of £150 is an additional charge on all bookings and is payable upon receipt of the invoice for the full hire fee & deposit.  This is returned after the booking/event has taken place unless any damage has been done to the room or premises as a result of the booking/event.

Opening Hours

• Monday to Friday 08:30am to 9:00pm.
• Saturday & Sunday general hours 9:00am to 9:00pm although we are not always open on the weekend.  Check with reception staff or the Booking Coordinator.
• For bookings outside of our normal core hours an additional charge of £150 is applied to the booking.

Hire Periods

• All bookings must include set up and breakdown time.
• A full day is for an 8 hour period 9:00am to 5:00pm
• Half day is for a 4 hour period 9:00am to 1:00pm, 1:00pm to 5:00pm or 5:00pm to 9:00pm.
• Additional hours are added at the hourly rate.
• Minimum hire period on all rooms is 3 hours, except the Main Hall, which is 4 hours minimum.

Discounts
The following shows discounts that are available from the standard room hire rates.

Discounts available are incremental.  For example, a non-charity business that hires rooms annually up to the value of £50,000 would pay the standard rate on all bookings upt £20,000 then receive a 10% discount on all further bookings from £20,001 to £40,000.  15% would then be available from £40,001 to £70,000 etc.
 
Additionally, special discounts may be offered to people who block book spaces out of term time (summer / spring break / half terms etc) or at the last minute, at the discretion of the Events Management.
